About Alle
Alle is a learning app for creating, importing and studying flashcards. It is run by its founder, Rodrigo, as an independent project based in Brussels, Belgium. These terms apply when you use the Alle website or app. By creating an account or using Alle, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use Alle.
In short: Alle is free during testing, your content stays yours, use it fairly, and remember that study material, especially AI-generated material, can contain mistakes.
Your account
- You need to be at least 13 years old to use Alle. If you're under 18, make sure a parent or guardian is happy for you to use it.
- Give a valid email address and keep your password safe. You're responsible for what happens under your account.
- If you think someone else has accessed your account, contact us straight away.
Using Alle
You can use Alle for personal learning, including for study, work or exam preparation. Please don't:
- use Alle for anything illegal, or to store or share content that is unlawful, hateful or infringes someone else's rights
- try to access other people's accounts or data
- interfere with or overload the service, probe it for security weaknesses, or get around its limits
- copy, resell or scrape Alle or its content in bulk
Your content
You keep ownership of the decks, cards and other material you create or import. You give us permission to store, process and display that content only as needed to run Alle for you. You're responsible for making sure you have the right to use any content you add, for example material from textbooks or other sources.
The example decks we offer are free to copy and use for your own learning.
Google Sheets and AI
Google Sheets. When you import a sheet, Alle reads the published link you provide. Your use of Google Sheets is covered by Google's terms, and we're not responsible for their availability or changes.
AI. Alle can give you a prompt to use with an AI service of your choice. AI-generated cards can be wrong or incomplete. Always check them before relying on them, especially for medical, legal, financial, safety or exam-critical information. Your use of any AI service is covered by that service's own terms.
Early testing
Alle is currently in early testing and free to use. Features may change, be added or removed, and things may sometimes not work as expected. We work to keep your data safe and Alle available, but we can't guarantee it will always be uninterrupted or error-free, so keep your own copy of anything important, such as your original sheets.
If we introduce paid features in the future, we'll tell you clearly in advance. Nothing will be charged without your agreement.
Our name and design
The Alle name, logo, design and software belong to Alle. These terms don't give you the right to use them, except to use Alle as intended.
Ending your use
You can stop using Alle at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms, puts others or the service at risk, or is used unlawfully. Where reasonable, we'll tell you first and give you the chance to export your content.
Liability
Alle is provided “as is” during testing. We don't promise particular learning or exam results, or that study material, whether yours, imported or AI-generated, is accurate.
As far as the law allows, we're not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of data you could have kept a copy of. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law, or your rights as a consumer under Belgian and EU law.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as Alle develops. We'll change the date at the top of this page, and for important changes we'll tell you in the app or by email before they take effect. If you keep using Alle after that, the new terms apply.
Governing law
These terms are governed by Belgian law. Any dispute will be handled by the courts of Brussels, unless the law where you live gives you the right to go to your local courts. You keep any consumer protections that apply where you live. EU consumers can also use the EU's online dispute resolution platform.
